Douglas Soil & Water Conservation District is a completely grant-funded district and therefore does not have any taxing authority. The board of directors are not compensated and volunteer their time to build up the district for the community. Staff salaries and district projects are all funded by grants from organizations at the local, state, and federal level.
Douglas Soil and Water Conservation District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Douglas Soil and Water Conservation District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
