Tree School Umpqua - UCC Campus
This mini-college features 23 classes on a wide variety of topics of interest to family forestland owners, professionals in forestry and natural resources, loggers, arborists, teachers, and the general public.
This day-long event offers classroom sessions taught by Extension foresters, professional foresters, and other resource management professionals. Classes are 1.5 hours long, and you can attend up to four over the course of the day.
OSU Extensions has class selections this year to include forestry topics for woodland owners and managers, as well as those interested in subjects such as firewise landscaping, caring for urban trees, and maple syrup production. There is something for everyone! Snacks and a great lunch are included in your registration to keep your energy level high!
Registration opens at 10:00 am on Monday, July 6, 2026. Many classes fill fast, and seats are limited. Register online, in-person, or by mail (no day-of walk-ins allowed). A registration form can be found on the last page of the catalog. The discounted $70 registration fee ends on August 2nd. After that, the fee increases to $90 on August 3rd and closes at 5:00 pm on August 11th.
