Landowners frequently express both interest and concern about the most challenging step in the cycle of forest management: achieving good regeneration after a disturbance or harvest. Join a team from OSU Forestry Extension for a day in the forest learning about the basics of forest regeneration including species
selection, the influence of topography, using the shade of sheltering objects, browsing by animals, and much more. Participants will get hands on experience performing a basic plantation measurement plot and testing forest growing conditions.
