Learn about the geologic processes and risk factors of landslides in the field with OSU Ext. In this 4-hour tour, you will visit multiple local landslide sites to demonstrate a variety of landslide features and field indicators of unstable slopes. Participants will practice identifying landforms and discussing site-specific risk factors. The field tour is appropriate for landowners who want to practice reading their own land and practitioners interested in real-world examples of unstable terrain.
