Farm Direct Marketing Workshop

A free class on farm direct marketing, covering legal selling, labeling, and compliance tips. January 23, 2026, OSU Extension.

Are you selling products from your farm or home garden? Selling directly to the consumer is one way for farmers and market gardeners to make a sustainable living in agriculture. Knowing the laws and regulations will help you stay legal, safe, and in business! There have been changes in the law since the introduction of Senate Bill 507 in 2023, and if you are selling or planning to sell your produce directly to the consumer, you need to know them! This opportunity will teach you about what products are allowed in Farm Direct, how to label them, and how to keep records of your sales. This workshop will cover selling eggs, jams, pickles, honey, and more!
